The $23 million renovation has been completed at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, which included all 1,190 guestrooms and corridors. The property is Hilton’s first in California and third globally to adopt Connected Room experience, which enables guests to control all technological aspects of their stay, including the temperature and lighting.
Modern furniture like winged headboards and a nautical color palette ranging from slate to indigo adorn the guestrooms. Whimsical artwork reminiscent of water amplifies the localized bayside ambiance. Sconces, blackout and sheer drapery, lounge seating, and bathroom vanities complete the look. Sustainability is emphasized in the redesign through the incorporation of touches like built-in occupancy sensors for thermostat and light switches.
