Situated in Georgia’s second-largest city, ROOMS Batumi captures the spirit of its surroundings through a thoughtful design by Collective Development in collaboration with Rooms Studio.
The hotel’s late-19th-century façade, refreshed with white paint and accented by yellow awnings and blue shutters, reflects the historic Old Town and vibrant port that the property overlooks.
Inside, a soft color palette of pale pink, white, yellows, and blues is complemented by materials like plywood, natural stone, concrete, aluminum, and upcycled textiles, which integrate with some of the building’s original features.
Guests are welcomed by a boomerang-shaped bar in the lobby, while the ground-level Rubber Duck restaurant offers a farm-to-table dining experience in an American-style diner setting. On the rooftop, the Kitchen restaurant and bar provides a more refined atmosphere alongside a pool with panoramic views of the Old Town.
The 120 guestrooms and suites at ROOMS Batumi each feature balconies or terraces with either sea or city views. Bold, 1970s-inspired touches—like wood-paneled walls and round beds in select rooms—imbue the accommodations with a retro flair.
Outside, the inner courtyard offers a peaceful retreat framed by stained-glass windows that filter soft light to enhance the lush, palm-lined space.
The nearby Shop at BATUMI furthers the hotel’s sustainable focus—offering a selection of handcrafted goods made in an onsite atelier.
