Boutique hospitality collection Salt Hotels has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Salt House Nantucket. Inspired by the agrarian history of the island’s Brant Point neighborhood, the exclusive summer pop-up comprises 18 rooms housed across post-and-beam structures given a modern facelift.
“Salt House Nantucket has a light and contemporary look, apt for a New England escape,” says Kevin O’Shea, chief creative officer of Salt Hotels. “We chose a sophisticated color palette and design aesthetic—quintessentially summer on Nantucket; easy breezy.”
Bleached oak floors, warm neutral hues, and luxe details characterize Salt House Nantucket. Airy suites boast custom cabinetry, high-end kitchenette appliances, and custom light fixtures as well as bathrooms outfitted with rich glazed tiling. The concept also features ample gathering space, from a spacious lawn lined with fire pits, seating, and gaming to the breakfast room and lounge, which spills onto an alfresco dining deck and outdoor bar.
Salt House Nantucket will celebrate its full launch in summer 2023.
