Viceroy Hotel Group is planning to unveil a total revamp of California’s L’Ermitage Beverly Hills.
Led by Santa Barbara, California-based Smith/Firestone Associates (SFA Design), a total renovation of the 5-Star hotel, will include 117 new suites with updated public areas and a restaurant to launch later this year.
“Our intent was to create a series of unique settings that celebrate the individuality and personalities of L’Ermitage guests,” says Kara Smith, principal at SFA. “Suite designs were infused with a modern interpretation of the blend of indulgence and sanctuary for which the hotel is famed. The fusion of colors, textures, and curated artwork deliver that perfect realization of the hotel you always wanted to stay in, the home you always wanted to live in, and the space you love to entertain in.”
Starting at approximately 650 square feet, residential-inspired suites will range in size and feature a dressing room and walk-in closet with indoor-outdoor light settings. Shimmering caramel walls will don Venetian cut-glass mirrors, while beds will stand out with floor-to-ceiling, suede and velvet headboards. White onyx and gray marble detailing will complement an array of eclectic art.
