Auberge Resorts Collection has been appointed by developer Witkoff and Monroe Capital to manage the Shore Club Resort and Residences in Miami Beach.
The Art Deco-style Shore Club, designed by late architect Albert Anis, has stood at the heart of the Florida city since 1949.
As part of the Auberge portfolio, the three-acre property, along with 175 feet of oceanfront, will comprise the original Shore Club and the adjacent Cromwell Hotel, as well as a new 18-story residential tower and a free-standing residential villa, both designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA).
In collaboration with Bryan O’Sullivan Studio and Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, RAMSA and Auberge will preserve the Shore Club’s historic integrity and vibrant past while positioning it to thrive in South Beach’s new era.
The 200-foot-tall residential tower will spin off Miami Modernist architecture with curves inspired by the area’s Art Deco heritage. Staggered tiers give way to wide, undulating terraces with views of the water.
Meanwhile, the eight-story Cromwell Hotel will be transformed into a discreet private entrance where homeowners can access the 49 exclusive residences.
Each residence will boast a distinct floor plan, all touching on the same timeless theme that runs throughout the resort, with rich woods, sinuous lines, and brass accents reminiscent of classic yachts.
The Shore Club will also feature a 8,000-square-foot beach house. Made for a single family, the fully-serviced villa will offer its own private entrance and swimming pool.
In addition, the property will include a private fitness center, library, lounge, and residents-only pool. Residents will have access to hotel amenities, including its signature restaurant.
The Shore Club Resort and Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection is scheduled to open in 2027.
