Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is pleased to announce the finalists for the 20th annual HD Awards, honoring the best in design across 30 project categories and 13 product categories.
Lauded as the most prestigious awards for the hospitality industry, the yearly event recognizes the best and most innovative achievements in design from around the globe, as well as the creative teams behind them.

From nearly 930 project entries and more than 370 product submissions, HD will announce the winners live during ceremony on April 30th at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas during HD Expo + Conference. (Purchase tickets for the event here.)
An esteemed panel of industry professionals selected this year’s winners and finalists. Project judges included Atit Jariwala, Bridgeton; Audra Tuskes, Marriott; Larry Traxler, Hilton; Peter Reardon, White Lodging; Roy Kim, Extell; Matthew Goodrich, Goodrich; Susan Nugraha, Tao Group Hospitality; Tenaya Hills, Bunkhouse Group; Tom Ito, Gensler; Sarah Bonsall, Six Senses Resorts Hotels Spas; and Marquise Stillwell, Openbox. Products were judged by Alda Ly, ALA Studio; Alan Benjamin, Benjamin West; Ellen Villars, MGM Resorts International; and Heather Ciszczon, NuovoRE.
The 2024 HD Awards ceremony will also recognize Nicole Hollis of San Francisco-based firm NICOLEHOLLIS and Standard International as Designer and Hotel Company of the Year, respectively.
For the sixth year in a row, HD partnered with West Elm to produce the HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition. The $5,000 prize will be awarded to the student and/or recent graduate whose barstool design stood out. (Submissions are still open—enter by this Friday, March 22nd!)
The Hospitality Diversity Action Council (HDAC), for the fourth consecutive year, will also honor exemplary work that advances the hospitality industry through the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and equity with the Awards of Excellence.
