Signia by Hilton has opened its maiden hotel in California with the launch of Signia by Hilton San Jose. The revamp of the 805-room property, which was the largest hotel in Silicon Valley, will complete its final phase next year with the modernization of the Main Tower led by HBA.
“We are delighted to welcome Signia by Hilton to San Jose, a city that is synonymous with innovation. The hotel’s debut strengthens the city’s positioning as a leading destination for some of the most prominent meetings and social events,” says Danny Hughes, executive vice president and president, Americas, Hilton. “Regarded as the center of tech-ingenuity, San Jose offers the perfect location to expand Hilton’s California presence, which is an integral part of our robust strategy in our largest growing market within the U.S.”
The hotel blends a modern grandeur with refined elements to reflect the spirit of the setting. The dramatic lobby unfolds with focal points like archways and chandeliers punctuating coworking and lounge areas. A central marble bar anchors the space beneath a lighting installation of crystal glass and metal rods. Complementary warm wood panels, stone details, and neutral tones infuse the hotel with an organic, inviting quality. In addition to an outdoor pool, fitness center, and more than 65,000 square feet of event space. Signia by Hilton San Jose is also home to five F&B concepts, ranging from the Japanese-Peruvian concept AJI Bar and Robata to the indoor-outdoor Grill on the Alley and the breakfast venue Fountain Restaurant.
The hotel’s 13-story South Tower houses 226 guestrooms and 32 suites overlooking vistas of the Santa Cruz mountains and downtown San Jose. Ranging from 450 to 1,200 square feet, accommodations are equipped with seating, work desks, and oversized windows.
