Six Senses continues to expand its presence in the U.S. with the announcement of Six Senses RiverStone Estate, located just outside Foxburg, Pennsylvania.
The new property, set to launch in 2028, follows the luxury brand’s recent signings in Telluride, Napa, and on the South Carolina coast.
Nestled on a sprawling wooded ridge, Six Senses RiverStone Estate will house 77 guestrooms and 40 branded residences woven into the contours of the 1,200-acre estate, which boasts more than 50 miles of trails and seven miles of riverfront.
The central hub of the property is a 13,000-square-foot stone mansion, first constructed in the 1820s as a summer home for the descendants of George Fox (after whom the town of Foxburg is named). A Victorian carriage house designed by late architect Frank Furness is also featured onsite.
Guestrooms and cottages highlight an off-the-grid vibe under a canopy of trees or atop the riverbank. Branded residences will echo a similar warm, uncluttered, and sustainable lifestyle.
Six Senses RiverStone Estate will boast a 16,000-square-foot spa within the restored stone walls of the centuries-old Fox Family’s English Garden. Facilities for indoor and outdoor classes, including meditation, stretching, yoga and Pilates, will also be set among scenic views.
The wellness amenities continue with a 4,500-square-foot fitness center and an 82-foot pool bordering an old growth forest approximately 280 feet above the Allegheny River.
Onsite farm-to-table dining options will include a specialty restaurant, a central courtyard with smaller tasting bars, and the Orchard Alley pop-up experience.
In addition, the property will feature an equestrian center with an 22,000-square-foot indoor riding arena, 36 stalls with heated floors, and quiet corners for equine therapy programs. Residential owners will be able to board their horses year-round, while guests and owners will be able to access the facility’s offerings, too.
Six Senses RiverStone Estate will feature architecture by Olson Kundig and interiors by Michaelis Boyd and Charles & Co.
“Six Senses RiverStone Estate will be a peaceful refuge for guests to experience mental, physical, and spiritual connection,” says owner Saji Daniel. “We are stewards of the property for generations to come and share in the Six Senses ethos of sustainability, nurturing. and conserving land, and revitalizing the Foxburg community. After spending time on this magical property, we knew we needed to share it with the world.”
