The UNICO 20° 87° Hotel Riviera Maya has made its debut in Mexico. The hotel’s unique style and architecture reflects the local culture, with exteriors from Mexican architecture firm Artigas and interiors conceptualized by New York-based AvroKO.
Nearly all 448 guestrooms enjoy ocean views, while all first-floor accommodations are include swim-up pools and chaise lounges. All terraces are fully furnished, while bathrooms are outfitted with double sinks and rain showers.
Five gourmet eateries and six bars and lounges have opened as well, including a cigar lounge and two swim-up bars. The onsite spa houses hydrotherapy facilities, a plunge pool, Hammam, beauty salon, barbershop, steam and sauna rooms, and 18 luxe cabanas that span three configurations. A fitness center and basketball and tennis courts are also offered. Event and meeting space includes an outdoor venue, two breakout rooms, and the 11,600-square-foot ballroom.
