The former Mandarin Oriental Atlanta has returned as the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, marking the brand’s arrival in the city. Housed within a 42-story structure designed by architect Robert A.M. Stern, the new hotel is endowed with luxe amenities, including a 15,000-square-foot spa that comprises 14 private treatment rooms and a 60-foot-long climate-controlled indoor pool overlooking a private garden. A tech-driven fitness center, yoga studio, steam room, vitality pool, boutique, and relaxation areas are also featured. Extensive meeting and event spaces and F&B options are included onsite as well.
Beginning at 482 square feet, the hotel’s 127 guestrooms and 10 suites are each outfitted with bathrooms equipped with dual sinks and a deep soaking tub. Signature Waldorf Astoria touches permeate through each room, which all amplify a residential-inspired ambiance with décor that is both contemporary and elegant. The 2,340-square-foot presidential suite boasts dual balconies, while a handful of other accommodations are also attached to the balconies.
