Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its 21st brand: Registry Collection Hotels. The brand will provide a new option in the luxury sector while also supporting Wyndham’s overall mission to make travel possible for all. Conceived with independent luxury hotel owners in mind, Registry Collection Hotels will encourage owners to maintain each property’s spirit of individuality and to tap into the global scale of Wyndham to help drive more direct bookings at lower costs of distribution.
“As the hospitality industry continues to rebound, independent luxury hotel owners around the world have approached our development teams seeking sales, marketing, and reservations support under a proven and established luxury brand,” says Wyndham president and CEO Geoff Ballotti. “Registry Collection Hotels now fill an important space at the upper end of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts portfolio, allowing us to very selectively provide support to independent hoteliers around the globe who meet the highest standards of luxury service and accommodations.”
Registry Collection Hotels debuts with the launch of its flagship property, the Grand Residences Riviera Cancun. The all-suite resort in the fishing village of Puerto Morelos is home to luxe amenities, including a full-service spa, three high-end F&B options, and 144 hacienda-style accommodations.
