YOTEL Bangkok, the hotel brand’s first property in Thailand, will open in 2025.
The new-build property will be part of Cloud 11, a 2.7-million-square-foot mixed-use development designed by Snøhetta in collaboration with A49 Architects as a hub for creators in four key sectors: gaming, music and podcasting, film and animation, and tech. Cloud 11, developed by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), will be a pioneering sustainable project, featuring Thailand’s largest rooftop park.
“We constantly strive to immerse ourselves within the world’s smartest destinations,” says YOTEL CEO Hubert Viriot. “Cloud 11 is going to be a hub for tech innovation and digital learning, making it the perfect location for our first hotel in Thailand. We’re thrilled to be the chosen brand for the development as our values are perfectly aligned with MQDC’s vision and mission for Cloud 11. Additionally, we’re expecting to see major demand for hotel rooms, as the area becomes an interconnected community for government, private agencies, universities, startups, and the world’s leading technology companies.”
Featuring 250 rooms, YOTEL Bangkok will showcase the brand’s latest features, including its signature robotic concierge, motorized SmartBeds, and fully integrated technologies. Guests will also have access to a multifunctional dining and coworking space, a 24-hour fitness center, a grab-and-go snack station, and two meeting hubs.
Hotel guests, visitors of Cloud 11, and locals will be able to enjoy the skybar on the 22nd floor overlooking Bang Krachao, dubbed the green lung of Bangkok.
The news marks the third signing announcement for YOTEL in 2023 as part of the company’s growth strategy to reach 50 hotels by 2025.
