Hyatt Regency Louisville has unveiled the results of its $5.8 million renovation in time for the Kentucky Derby. A new front entrance leads to a transformed lobby, highlighted by check-in pods, new furnishings and flooring, refreshed elevator bay, and an artistic glass wall designed by Kenneth von Roenn. The revamped restaurant is now known as Sway, featuring a bar with glass walls that slide open. In addition, the hotel has created a green infrastructure, from pervious pavement that allows storm water to soak through to the soil to infiltration drains that capture rainwater and drain it directly into the ground.
