On November 25th, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts will unveil its first mountain property: Viceroy Snowmass near Aspen, Colorado. The resort features interiors by designer Jean-Michel Gathy of Malaysia-based architectural firm Denniston International and a pool café and pool terrace by Kelly Wearstler.
Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, Viceroy Snowmass offers 173 guestrooms ranging from studios to expansive four-bedroom residences that feature contemporary alpine decor. Amenities include a fine-dining restaurant with a glimmering display kitchen and private dining rooms; an 87-foot-long glass-topped après-ski bar; a lounge designed around a double-sided fireplace; slopeside ski valet services that enable guests to transfer their skis to any of the area’s four ski mountains; a full-service spa; fitness room; a pool café and slopeside pool experience with permanent cabanas integrating fire design elements; and 9,000 square feet of flexible and stylish event space.
