What we’re looking forward to: Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, has captivated luminaries since 1873. For a more intimate experience, however, there’s the spruced-up Villa Timeo a few steps away. The 21-room residence references the neighboring ancient Greek amphitheater and vibrant Sicilian majolica, melding stone flooring, marble fittings, and ceramic lighting. Afternoons on the sea-blue tiled pool terrace morph into evenings underneath the plaster domed ceiling of Bar Clementina.
