Nautilus

For SIXTY Hotels’ South Beach debut, founder Jason Pomeranc picked a classic: the famed Nautilus, designed in the 1950s by architect Morris Lapidus. The building that Pomeranc says was in quite a state of disrepair, “gave us a real blank slate to work with. Although it’s a restoration, it feels like it’s a new project completely,” he says. To complement Miami’s evolving, international clientele, Pomeranc and his team infused a midcentury, eclectic vibe throughout the hotel.
