Situated in the Lazio region of northern Italy, between Tuscany and Umbria, the boutique Le Ville di Trevinano resort has opened with a modern design that complements the lush countryside. Almere, Netherlands-based firm 70F Architecture crafted the minimalist interiors featuring subtle nods to the bucolic setting.

The earth-sheltered project is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the serene locale as well as power-floated concrete floors, and modern artwork. A clean design defines the resort villas’ spacious bedrooms and living spaces with a neutral color palette and warm tones from locally sourced raw materials. One-story villas also include a furnished private patio, mini pool, and green roofs that control the internal climate. Kitchens boast custom cabinetry and modern appliances while ensuite bathrooms offer a fitted rain shower, a separate tub, and adjusted height in order to maximize the panoramic views even from the bathroom.
