Boqueria has arrived in Atlanta’s Colony Square, bringing a blend of Old World charm and industrial edge to the multi-use destination.

Designed by Alexis Nafisi of Adean Studios, the 5,000-square-foot space embodies the brand’s high-energy, transportive aesthetic while incorporating utilitarian materials that will naturally patina over time.

Rooted in the European modernism of the 1940s, the interiors balance clean lines and geometric forms with soft curves, lush greenery, and warm amber lighting.

A nod to traditional Spanish marketplaces, the design showcases authentic merchandise in curated displays, while an open kitchen links the front and back of house.

An expansive patio lounge, which integrates with the vibrant surroundings of Colony Square, extends the experience outdoors.

The space is defined by a striking interplay of materials. Decorative metalwork and architectural arcade elements, reminiscent of Madrid’s iconic Mercado de San Miguel, frame large archways that delineate intimate dining areas. A bold yet refined palette pairs deep reds with antique brass and blackened steel.

Custom elements—like routed-edge solid oak tabletops, steel cantilever-backed bar stools, and exoskeletal banquette frames inspired by the European detailing of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto—further elevate the restaurant.

Suspended chandeliers featuring fluted glass, brass bracketing, and opal glass shields cast a vintage glow, while ribbed opal half-globe lights create an intimate ambiance across the dining room.
