Two of INC Architecture & Design‘s veteran designers, Hilary Kroll and Tyler Kleck, have been named partners. The pair will join founding partners Adam Rolston, Gabriel Benroth, and Drew Stuart in leading the 50-person, New York-based firm that was established in 2006.
“Every studio is like a living organism. The studio is brought into the world by its founding partners and then immediately begins to grow and evolve,” says Rolston, who also serves as INC’s creative and managing director. “Properly tended, the studio’s culture deepens, and its point of view blossoms. Having joined the studio shortly after its inception, Hilary and Tyler have been an integral part of cultivating INC’s mature and unique perspective of today. It is only natural that these two designers would join us as fully vested partners looking toward a future built on the potent foundation they helped create.”
Kroll, who also serves as sustainability director, has worked as project manager and project architect for a slew of hospitality projects, including the TWA Hotel in New York and the LINE DC, since joining INC in 2006. She is currently at work on endeavors at the Brooklyn Museum and the Kimpton Hotel at Rockefeller Center as well.
Branding director Kleck, who was hired at INC in 2007, has contributed to hospitality designs including the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and the Morrow hotel in Washington, DC. Kleck’s ongoing projects include the Aspen Club and Velvaere, a forthcoming wellness community in Park City, Utah.
