SB Architects has announced the launch of an office in Dallas, Texas, a market where the international firm has crafted a robust roster of hospitality projects with plenty more in the pipeline. Situated within the city’s Central Business District, the new location will be overseen by SB Architects vice president Regan Holton.
“This region is thriving with innovation—something that I’ve experienced first-hand as a Dallas resident,” Holton says. “From the moment we began working on our first projects in Dallas, it became clear that there was a significant synergy between our way of work and the people-focused approach to business in the region. We’re thrilled to continue building our practice here, focused on site-specific design.”
SB’s Texas pipeline includes the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, a mixed-use development set to open in spring 2023 comprising a 510-key resort and the PGA headquarters. Adjacent to that ongoing project, SB Architects is also at work on THE LINK, a 240-acre mixed-use district complete with a pedestrian promenade, resort-style development, offices, retail, wellness facilities, and luxury residences.
“The Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex is the perfect place for SB Architects to expand its footprint and we’re thrilled to announce our new office,” says Bruce Wright, senior vice president and principal at SB Architects. “With an active local portfolio and a marquee set of clients in Texas, this office expansion is the natural next step for our firm. We understand the importance of in-person collaboration and immersion in the local context. Establishing an office in Dallas builds on our ability to connect in person with our clients and enhances our capability to support our team in this important region of the country.”
SB Architects also operates offices in San Fransisco, Miami, and London.
