Spread across 660 acres in Texas, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort has arrived.
The $520 million leisure destination was fashioned by SB Architects and Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) to embody a sophisticated narrative inspired by the history of the setting and accented by subtle references to golf, the resort’s key attraction.
“We are incredibly honored that Omni Hotels & Resorts trusted our expertise to plan and design the interiors of the new and incredible Omni PGA Frisco Resort,” says architect and JBI founder Jeffrey Beers. “With nods to Texan culture and Western vernacular, we have strived to tell a sophisticated visual story that honors the heritage of the Omni brand, the game of golf and its history, and the significance of the PGA of America.”
Stonework, ironwork, large overhangs, and wood details convey a contemporary character across the design. In addition to numerous onsite golf courses, including a pair of 18-hole options, Omni PGA Frisco houses a range of inviting food and beverage options. The upscale, signature Trick Rider eatery honors rodeo culture and evokes vibrancy with elements like a grandiose handcut crystal horse chandelier and a horseshoe-shaped bar. All-day restaurant Apron Kitchen + Bar is also featured, as are the Lookout lobby bar, Toast & Tee coffee shop, poolside melting pot Bluestem, and specialty spa café Green Cactus Café.
Four sparkling pools, the Mokara Spa, and 127,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting and event space round out the resort’s amenities.
Each of the luxe 510 guestrooms, including 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, feature a homey, tranquil ambiance conveyed via tartan prints and emerald green tufted headboards that also instill a sense of place.
“The Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) region is thriving with innovation and optimism,” adds Regan Holton, vice president of SB Architects’ Dallas office. “We set out to create an environment and destination that not only caters to the world-class golf aficionados, but also to the general public to whom golf might not be the draw.”
