Choice Hotels International opened 33 franchised properties in November. The openings span 20 states (including Hawaii) and three countries, adding more than 2,500 rooms to the company’s existing 485,000-plus rooms. Select hotels include:
Le Bourget Aero Suites, an Ascend Collection hotel—Bloomington, Minnesota: Located near the Mall of America and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the 160-key upscale hotel features French-inspired design and amenities such as a bistro and lobby bar, European-style espresso bar, indoor heated pool, fitness facilities, 24-hour business center. Spacious guest suites guest suites are elegantly appointed with rich dark wood furnishings, pillow-top mattresses, oversized work desks, Spanish granite vanities in the baths, and large flatscreen TVs.
Clarion Collection Burghotel Blomberg—Blomberg, Germany: This 53-room hotel is situated within a picturesque medieval castle that’s nestled among forests, gardens, and parks. Amenities include a spa and wellness center, two restaurants, two lounges, indoor heated pool, chapel, and meeting/banquet space for up to 1,000 people.
