Dolce Hotels and Resorts has signed on to manage the 1,200-acre Silverado Resort in Napa Valley. The 439-room golf resort was recently sold to a group comprising golf great Johnny Miller; Roger Kent, founder of Rug Doctor; and Tim Wall, CEO of a consumer products company in the Dallas area. The trio plans to reposition the resort and its two 18-hole championship golf courses as upper-upscale facilities and establishing a golf school to be named the Johnny Miller Golf Academy. Dolce, meanwhile, plans to upgrade the existing function space within the 15,000-square-foot executive conference center. The property also has a spa and two restaurants.
