Following an $8 million makeover to the former Radisson Downtown Market Square Hotel, the Doubletree Hotel San Antonio Downtown has opened. The 250-room hotel features 9,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a lushly landscaped outdoor tropical courtyard and two independent ballrooms. The new Ventanas Bistro & Wine Bar will host large flatscreen TVs and a Wii interactive game area, while the Spanish-style lobby lounge encourages guests to relax with a cocktail. The Doubletree also features fitness facilities and an outdoor pool.
