For more than a decade, Silencio has been one of the most beloved nightlife venues in Paris. After opening a second location in the French capital and a beach house in Ibiza, the nightclub is now setting up shop in New York.
A stone’s throw away from Times Square, the New York outpost embodies the brand’s signature aesthetic with a minimal and contemporary space designed by Harry Nuriev, founder and creative director of Crosby Studios.
The entrance greets guests with soft lights and an art-adorned screen, serving as an invitation for further exploration.
Inside, a golden dance floor exudes the colors of Silencio in Paris, drawing attention to a main room encased in metallic partitions and bathed in a luminous golden glow. Surrounding the dance floor, smaller rooms—awash in a deep, mysterious red—offer intimate spaces for visitors to relax and socialize.
Nuriev drew inspiration from American film director David Lynch—who designed the original Silencio location—and his movies that Nuriev grew up watching. Leaning on Lynch’s signature red palette for the nightclub’s latest location, Nuriev created a sensual, movie-like atmosphere that embraces the spirit of New York instilled with French flair.
