Jimmy Buffet and hotelier Marilyn Hess have teamed up to create the 162-room Margaritaville Beach Hotel, opening this summer in Pensacola Beach, Florida. Set upon 800 feet fronting the Gulf Coast, the Florida vernacular-style property exudes a laidback tropical vibe inspired by Buffet’s lyrics and lifestyle with items such as teak and reclaimed oak furnishings and ceiling fans. Other features include a restaurant, business center, fitness facilities, pool deck and beach pavilion, and meeting rooms. A water park and Margaritaville restaurant are planned for future development.
