The 1,003-room Austin Marriott Marquis will be the brand’s first hotel in Texas and the largest lodging in the city when it opens in 2015. Located two blocks from the Austin Convention center, the hotel will include multiple F& B options and a large fitness center. “This new Marquis will help draw new business to the city of Austin and be an important addition to our global portfolio of more than 500 hotels,” says Paul Cahill, Sr. vice president, brand, Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
