Four Seasons Beirut Debuts

Published: January 12, 2010

Four Seasons BeirutAfter 10 years of planning and five years of construction, Four Seasons Beirut has opened its doors. Designed by architectural firm Dar Al Handasa with interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the hotel is infused with local traditions, Lebanese artwork, carved screens, and gilded calligraphy.

Each of the 230 luxuriously appointed guestrooms has a large terrace, while the spa—outfitted in white marble and gold mosaics—features a suede-paneled couple’s suite with a private terrace and Jacuzzi. Other defining features at the Four Seasons include the Grill Room; a rooftop pool offering views of the city below; and the Bar, whose hallmark is a dramatic red and gold chandelier.
