Hilton has opened its second Poland hotel, this one in the historic old city of Gdansk. Blending modern and medieval, Polish architect Stefan Kurylowicz has designed the 150-key property to blend with the existing historic buildings. The Hilton Gdansk boasts materials such as native limestone and handmade bricks. In the atrium, a sculptural piece titled Seaflowers hangs from the ceiling, showcasing more than 25,000 individual glass flowers illuminated by fiber optics.

One of the hotel’s trademark features is the rooftop, which houses a bar, deck, and a wellness center comprising fitness facilities, a pool, and spa treatment rooms. Other amenities include the Mercato restaurant and bar, outfitted with vibrant orange and green hues, and function space for up to 530 guests.
