Miami’s Hotel Astor has revitalized its 40 guestrooms and has added a Cuban-inspired restaurant while maintaining its original Art Deco touches. Guestrooms now feature whitewashed hardwood floors, leather couches, and plasma TVs. Chef Douglas Rodriguez, who has starred on Top Chef Masters, has opened D. Rodriguez Cuba at the Astor.
The restaurant boasts a baby grand piano, glass-enclosed dining room, and an outdoor garden lined with jasmine trees and twisting vines. The adjacent Leila Lounge features a cigar bar.
