Led by executive chef Michele Mercuri, the refreshed XO Restaurant at Hotel Le St-James in Montreal will reopen next week. Montreal designer Alison Wood oversaw the design, which doubled the size of the kitchen and introduced chic details to the expanded dining room space. White leather banquettes with rich burgundy fabric detailing complement dark wood tables decked in shades of mauve and silver. New recessed lighting and a sound system contribute to the ambiance of the redesigned space. In addition, a new lounge/bar called Salon XO will adjoin the restaurant.
