The upcoming Fairmont Austin hotel has released images of its guestroom designs. Slated to open next summer, the 37-story, 1068-guestroom hotel has received its modern cosmopolitan look from San Francisco-based Warren Sheets Design (WSD). Each of the guestrooms features 9-foot ceilings and geometric shapes and hues of pure white and meridian blue inspired by the local Hill Country landscape. Shades of Versace copper and beige enhance the relaxed design alongside luminous textures of ebony, white oak, zebra wood, and cherry wood.
“We designed them to capture vital facets of the city,” says firm owner Warren Sheets of the guestrooms.
Custom cut and loop pile carpeting is detailed with 6-inch blue and gold stripes, which complement the chic credenza and chaise lounge. Woven gold and silver thread also run through the deep blue drapes that frame the floor-to-ceiling windows.
In bathrooms, custom vanities in a tobacco cerused finish are topped by a pearl white quartz top and feature a backlit mirror.
