The M Social Auckland has made its debut, marking the expansion of Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ M Social brand to two properties. The brand launched last summer with the opening of the Philippe Starck-designed M Social Singapore.
Each floor of the contemporary, design-driven property features its own distinctive theme, accentuated with local elements that reference fauna, marine life, and literature. Guests will be greeted in the lobby with self check-in kiosks and a media wall that displays information on local offerings. The casual, all-day dining concept Beast & Butterflies is outfitted with an outdoor terrace and bar, while the Delicatessen serves as an alternative F&B option.
Wall-to-wall windows in the 190 guestrooms overlook Auckland Harbor. The five configurations include the Social room, Social View room, Social Club room, Social Tribe room, and Social Tribe View room. Social Tribe rooms include two interconnecting bedrooms, while Social Club rooms boast access to communal workspace the Social Lounge. Two suite categories—the Harbor suite and the Ocean suite—are included as well.
