Following a $40 million renovation that began last year, Marriott’s Renaissance Hotels has reopened the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino in the Dominican Republic.
The project saw historic details of the lifestyle hotel, built in 1942, restored and enhanced with modern design elements.
With 300 guestrooms and suites, the property also offers an executive lounge, an outdoor pool, casino, tennis club, fitness center, spa, 10 meeting spaces, and the 1,200-seat La Fiesta theater.
The Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino is Marriott International’s third hotel in the Dominican Republic, along with the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo, which opened last year, and the Courtyard Santo Domingo.
