Six Senses plans to expand its footprint in Israel with the launch of Six Senses Tel Aviv. Set to open in late 2025, the 140-key hotel and 55 branded residences will span five existing buildings from the early 20th century, as well as 10 floors of a 42-floor, LEED Platinum tower. Preservation architects Amnon Bar-Or Architects will serve on the project along with Ranni Ziss Architects, while Orly Shrem Architects will oversee interiors.
“Architecture is a practical way of telling a story, and this story is an exciting one to tell,” says lead architect Ranni Ziss. “The original elements in the historic structures have been defined to best preserve them, while the compound is viewed as a whole and integral part of the urban renewal project, with maximum consideration of the unique needs of every modern city complex.”
An opulent lobby atrium, serving as a plaza between the preserved buildings, will herald guests. Hotel and residential interiors will be defined by classic clean lines, channeling the unique character of the coastal city. Natural materials and soft, warm colors will also instill a residentially inspired elegance across Six Senses Tel Aviv’s contemporary design.
The project’s two-floor spa will boast a holistic anti-aging center overlooking a heritage garden, while social and wellness hub Six Senses Place will promote community and reflection. A restaurant, café, bar, and a 17th-floor sky pool attached to a cocktail lounge will round out the property.
