Swissôtel has announced that it will now manage the dusitD2 Phuket Resort in Thailand, its fourth in the country, which will be rebranded as the Swissôtel Phuket Patong Beach Resort in June. This is the second property Swissôtel will manage for owner Destination Properties, following the Swissôtel Phuket Kamala Beach Resort in 2012.
The 390-room resort houses four bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, and fitness and children’s centers. Three meeting rooms and a 250-seat rooftop ballroom will comprise the hotel’s events space, and additional expansions expected to debut in September will further expand the property’s multifunction space.
Located less than an hour from the Phuket International Airport, the resort is minutes from the Patong beaches and Bangla Road, famous for its outdoor bars and nightlife.
