Langham Hospitality Group will plant a flag in Seattle in 2026 with the launch of a new hotel and branded residences. Home to 187 luxe guestrooms and suites, the Langham, Seattle and the Langham Residences will occupy a 42-story structure attached to the historic Terminal Sales Annex Building.
“We look forward to bringing the Langham’s luxury hospitality, which celebrates the everyday, to the heart of Seattle’s central business district at this storied location and building great memories for our guests and the community,” says Langham CEO Brett Butcher. “The Langham, Seattle and its residences will be a powerful testimony to how intelligently-designed mixed-use developments can create exceptional value.”
Kengo Kuma & Associates will spearhead the design of the new tower, drawing upon silhouettes of the Pacific Northwest’s basalt sea stack formations. The telescopic elements of Seattle’s Art Deco vernacular will also serve as muses for the project, which will be defined by vertical lines and subtle facets to maximize daylighting and views of the Puget Sound.
The property’s elegant interiors will be crafted by Rottet Studio to instill a sense of luxury inspired by the natural splendor of the Pacific Northwest. A sunny breakfast room and landscaped terrace will bond visitors with the surrounding downtown, while a lobby cocktail bar will provide a vibrant social hub. A wellness facility and flexible event spaces will round out the onsite amenities.
