Situated upon Mexico’s Caribbean coast, the former Royal Suites Yucatan by Palladium and the neighboring Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa have been transformed into the TRS Yucatan Hotel following extensive renovations.
The overhaul saw the creation of 454 suites, which includes accommodations from the former properties as well. Each spacious suite is equipped with terraces, while some boast private pools. Suites are housed across 13 villas that each include a design that draws inspiration from the surrounding nature and marine life. A fusion of local architecture styles, the design also includes colonial nuances and contemporary elements crafted with modern materials.
The hotel’s restaurant lineup includes the French concept La Bohème, the Italian eatery Tentazione, the meat-centric El Gaucho, the contemporary Chic Cabaret & Restaurant, and the gourmet venue Capricho, while the lobby is home to two bars concepts—Gaia Aurum and lo. The à la carte eatery Helios has debuted in the new signature beach club, which also hosts the multi-level Helios infinity pool and the Las Rocas saltwater pool. Additional amenities include the Zentropía Palladium Spa & Wellness center, a venue which also includes whirlpool tubs, steam rooms, a sauna, and a gym.
