Rockville, Maryland-based HVS Design has completed the interiors of the new Homewood Suites New York/Midtown Manhattan Times Square-South. It is the first Homewood Suites to open in Manhattan.
HVS Design developed a custom design that creates an urban, chic feel in the two-story lobby. The hotel features 293 suites in a mixture of studios and one-bedrooms.
“HVS Design is proud to be part of this dynamic downtown hotel,” says Jonathan C. Nehmer, managing principal of HVS Design. “This project is a stunning example of our team’s creativity to incorporate an all-suite hotel within such a unique, narrow site.”
The 22-story hotel is owned by West 37th Street Operator LLC, a joint venture between The Buccini/Pollin Group, Albanese Development Corporation, and Rockwood Capital and managed by PM Hospitality Strategies, Inc.
