Hyatt Hotels has signed a franchise agreement with the Chartres Lodging Group to rebrand the Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki as Hyatt Place Waikiki. Kokua Hospitality will manage the property and oversee its renovation and repositioning. The refurbishment project, expected to last 18 months, will result in a redesigned lobby, as well as 425 refreshed guestrooms and public spaces.
