IHG has signed a management agreement to introduce the InterContinental Resort brand in Koh Samui, Thailand. The 79-key hotel, currently known as the Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, will close its doors until December while undergoing an extensive refurbishment. The resort sits atop a cliff amidst coconut plantations and has nearly 1,000 feet of private beach frontage.
