Set on 600 acres of rolling hills, JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa has opened its doors. The resort’s 1,002 rooms, including 85 suites, reflect the authentic style and hospitality of the Texas Hill Country. The spacious rooms feature custom-designed furniture and finishes that make use of hand-tooled leather, copper, and ironwork also used throughout the property. The design team comprises architect HKS, Inc. and ForrestPerkins for interiors.
Dining venues include the casual restaurant Cibolo Moon; 18 Oaks, located at the golf clubhouse; and High Velocity Sports Bar. For relaxation, guests can access the 26,000-square-foot Lantana Spa with 30 treatment rooms, as well as a fitness center, movement studio, and lagoon-like pool. Meanwhile, the River Bluff Water Experience includes a 650-foot rapid river ride, three water slides and, a 1,100-foot-long lazy river. In addition, there are children’s pools, a serene adult pool, whirlpools and, an expansive activity pool. The resort also hosts two championship golf courses.
