Mexarosa—a newly unveiled restaurant in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad—channels the exuberance of Mexican maximalism through color, pattern, and touchable details.

Traditional motifs—including agave, sun, and horse emblems—are woven throughout, with their forms echoed in custom borders and upholstery.

Primary colors, notably bold reds and blues, dominate the color palette, which is complemented by playful touches of pink and natural materials, such as wood and wicker.

Spatially, the 2,750-square-foot restaurant is split into two main experiences. A low-seating family dining area offers a warm setting, contrasted by a high-energy bar zone distinguished by dynamic lighting and high seating. A custom metal jali acts as a room divider, defining the separate atmospheres while maintaining connection. A bamboo-clad ceiling invites natural light to dapple through the gaps and lends a sense of organic warmth, too.

Custom elements are also integrated into the project. The long banquette, for instance, draws attention with its pink and blue stripes, as well as the bar, which is clad in bespoke tiles. Signature lighting features sculptural forms that snake through the space and cast a mood-setting glow that transitions the restaurant from day to evening.
