Red Lobster Introduces New Restaurant Design

Published: February 2, 2011

Red Lobster will remodel its 700 North American restaurants with a new style reminiscent of the seaside village of Bar Harbor, Maine. New exterior features include a stone tower, ship lanterns, Adirondack-style chairs, and unique window decals that spell out the types of seafood guests will find inside. The redesign also encompasses a contemporary logo with an updated lobster icon and a new modifier highlighting Red Lobster’s signature fresh fish and live lobster. Inside, guests will find cozy booths, warm wood paneling, soft lighting, and nautical décor.

One-third of the restaurants will be remodeled by June, with the goal of all locations undergoing a redesign by 2014.
