Sheraton Crystal City to Undergo Renovation and Rebranding

Published: February 25, 2014

The Sheraton Crystal City is beginning a $16-million renovation in April. The hotel will be converted to the Westin Crystal City.

The refurbishment will include a complete redesign of the hotel’s 218 guestrooms, lobby, 16,000 square feet of meeting facilities, and additional public spaces.

A new lobby design will feature elegant lighting and a sophisticated restaurant and bar concept. In order for the project to be completed in four months, the hotel will close for business mid-April and reopen in August. The Westin Crystal City is located adjacent to the Crystal City Metro Station with access to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area- including the Smithsonian Museum, national monuments, and many government agencies.
