Sofitel Luxury Hotels has announced plans for its third Shanghai hotel, Sofitel Shanghai Jing’an, which will serve as the brand’s flagship in the city when it opens in 2011. Showcasing a clean, modern décor, the hotel, which will occupy floors 29 through 54 in a multi-use building, will offer 515 rooms, including 82 suites. F&B concepts encompass a lobby lounge and three restaurants, one of which is on the top level and boasts suspended gardens. Other features include 31,000 square feet of meeting space and a wellness center that hosts a spa, fitness facilities, an indoor pool, and a beauty salon.
