The Villa Group is working on two projects in Loreto, Baja Sur, Mexico. The 125-room Hotel Santa Fe opened this month in downtown Loreto, which has undergone a significant renovation. Meanwhile, the luxury Villa Del Palmar is on track for an October 2010 opening. Situated on a mile-long pristine beach, the resort is being designed with eco-friendly features and colors that blend into the natural scenery. One of the highlights is the turtle-shaped main pool, whose "legs" create the outline for smaller pools that cascade into the larger sunken pool, creating a waterfall effect. Guests will also have access to an expansive spa and a variety of restaurants.
