Starwood‘s Element brand has made its New York City debut with the LEED-designed Element New York Times Square West. The hotel’s 418 guestrooms and suites, along with public spaces, feature flooring and furniture made from recycled content, while wall art is mounted on bases made from recycled tires. Accommodations are also outfitted in low-VOC paints, Energy Star-rated appliances, and recycling bins. Amenities at the hotel include a lobby atrium, rooftop terrace, and fitness center.
