MGM Grand Las Vegas has partnered with Delos, a developer of healthy-living real estate, to offer 42 new Stay Well guestrooms. The accommodations, available in October, use medical science and technology to promote physical and emotional wellbeing. A video of health and wellness expert Deepak Chopra, who serves as an advisory board member at Delos, will introduce guests to the room’s features. These include:

  • Advanced room lighting to improve the body’s internal clock by helping regulate melatonin production and sleep/wake cycles
  • Wake Up Light Therapy, exposing guests to short periods of blue-shaded lighting to increase energy and reverse the effects of jetlag
  • Nightlighting, which uses LED lamps to illuminate pathways at night without disturbing melatonin levels
  • Dawn simulator alarm clocks to gradually awaken the body
  • Shower water infused with Vitamin C to neutralize chlorine and promote healthy hair and skin
  • STAY WELL Air Purification System, designed to reduce allergens, toxins, and pathogens
  • Optional aroma infusion
  • Water filtration system to reduce disinfectant byproducts, chlorine, pesticides, and other chemicals
  • Protection of guests from electrical equipment that emanates sleep-disruptive electromagnetic fields
  • Photo-catalytic coating, designed to break down bacteria, virus, and VOCs on bacteria-susceptible surfaces
  • Access to wellness software from Cleveland Clinic, which includes stress management, sleep, and nutrition programs, as well as access to healthy food/drink options developed by the clinic
