Viceroy Hotels & Residences is returning to New York. The brand has announced Viceroy Park Avenue, a 252-room hotel slated to open this December in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood.
The project is a joint venture between Highgate (Viceroy’s parent company), Tao Group Hospitality, and BGO, with interiors from Meyer Davis and F&B programming led by Tao Group.
Accommodations at Viceroy Park Avenue
The room count includes four presidential suites: three specialty penthouse suites on the 18th floor that range from 755 to 2,100 square feet, and a 2,000-square-foot duplex suite.
Meyer Davis drew on warm wood tones, textured stone, layered lighting, and custom furnishings to shape guestrooms that feel residential.
A New York dining and event destination
Tao Group Hospitality anchors the hotel’s dining identity at two distinct levels. On the ground floor, a signature restaurant and café strike a balance of intimacy and refinement. While, at the top of the building, a penthouse-level rooftop opens onto an outdoor pool, pool bar, cocktail lounge, and social spaces oriented toward the Manhattan skyline.
With more than 15,000 square feet of event space across three dedicated venues, Viceroy Park Avenue is built to handle occasions of varying scale, with rooms that can function independently or open into one another to accommodate larger gatherings.
Viceroy Park Avenue’s wellness programming
On the third floor, a spa and fitness center offers four treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and a gym equipped with Technogym machines and advanced wellness technology. Here, the design intent is a deliberate contrast to the pace of the city outside.
The hotel’s most distinctive accommodation may be its 2,100-square-foot Wellness Penthouse. Designed to meet the growing demand for in-room recovery and wellness, the suite incorporates a private infrared sauna, cold plunge, fitness equipment, and recovery technology alongside an indoor fireplace and outdoor terrace.
